Exhibitor Preview + Hatform
Wednesday, January 10th, 2007Hatform

Hatform is the headwear label created and conceived by Scottish artist and designer, Rosy Naylor
Fusing art with fashion, Rosy draws on her background in art. She originally studied conceptual art at Glasgow School of Art before training in millinery.
Each hat retains its minimalistic aesthetic, with random stitching and doodle drawing used to disrupt the purity of the unseamed felt. The forms, in many ways like exaggerated caps, play with muted tones of mustard, teal, bronze and charcoal set against a contrast of icy winter white.

Using semi-precious and glass stones, Gemma Lister creates cheerful pieces with a sense of humour that are fun but also adult and stylish. Her pieces take the expected and turn this on its head… pearls become gobstoppers, disco inspired beads hang enticingly, and tassels dangle between shoulder blades. Her unique eye catching pieces evoke the past but are unmistakeably modern.

A new Designer showcase during London Fashion Week
for like-minded progressive collections /
Kreateur is a premium showcase for labels specialising in modern tailoring, creative elegance, and cutting-edge luxe and will take place during London Fashion Week.
Kreateur is a new area organised by the team behind successful upscale streetwear exhibition Margin.
Recent editions of Margin have seen a marked increase in designer collections of clothing and accessories, featuring tailoring, jewellery, bags and homewares.
There has also been a strong demand from the boutique owners who regularly visit Margin who have responded well to these more directional creative collections and have been asking for more.
To distinguish and highlight these progressive labels from the upscale streetwear of Margin, the first edition of Kreateur will debut in February 2007 next to Margin.
Buyers and press have responded well to the relaxed welcoming intimacy of Margin and we aim to provide the same level of inclusive, swift-entry service to the designer exhibitors and visitors of Kreateur.
