Long-standing Norwich independent providing Norfolk lads (and men) with smarter casualwear and sharper streetwear, Elements opened in 1998 and stocks a mix of menswear brands, such as Luke 1977, Elvis Jesus, Nanny State, Two Angle and Weekend Offender.

Newly opened at the beginning of May 2010, The Rugged Standard is the physical space created by the website Superdenim.co.uk. With a blend of niche and overseas labels, the emphasis is on premium denim and workwear with a strong heritage of craftsmanship.

Ace was one of the first independent stores to realise that music and young fashion are inextricably linked when they opened their Leeds store in 1977. With an experienced eye for spotting new talent for both mens and womenswear, Ace has launched many a new designer alongside larger commercial brands.

Since Margin started in 2002, the independent London trade exhibition has promoted many new & young brands to key buyers but now Margin has turned their attention to promoting it’s core constituency of indie shops that keep towns & cities stocked with fresh product as well.
The first wave of Shop Tour videos are premiering at the Margin website at www.margin.tv/tv from the 24th May with plenty more to come in the following weeks.
Stores featured in the first wave of Margin Shop Tours are a diverse mix of modern retailing including long-standing design emporium Sarah Coggles in York, streetwear merchants Urban Industry in Eastbourne and Chimp in Leeds, cutting-edge boutique Bespoke in Norwich and Brighton retailers JuJu and Get Cutie. Added to these UK stores are Bilbao’s newest streetwear store Abricot and boardwear mecca The Box in Vigo to add an international Spanish flavour.
Established in 1974, long-standing design emporium Sarah Coggles is a York institution run by owner Mark Bage. Based on Low Petergate close to tourist attraction York Minster, Sarah Coggles has two stores, one each for men & women. Brands vary from catwalk favourites such as Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, Comme des Garcons, and PPQ, through to edgy new start-ups including I am Five, Lost Property, Nooka, Ames Bros, Emily & Fin, and Long Clothing.

Long-established in Brighton, Juju introduce new brands on a regular basis and have sought out edgier jewellery and clothing labels to offer their customers such as Liberty Blue and Cubicoola who debuted at Margin.
