Drapers  Margin   Bold graphics, bright colours and directional designs grabbed the eye at the London trade show     Words + Marie Davies & Marina Romiszowska    Villainous Visard  Men's streetwear label Villainous Visard uses masks and villains as its theme. Its T-shirt designs revolve around slogns, bold imagery and a Japanese streetwear influence. Black and white make up the signature palette. Its bright T-shirts and sweatshirts sport bold graphics and prints designed by emerging designers. Autumn 10 sees 10 young designers collaborathing with the label. THe palette sticks to navy, grey and dark green with an emphasis on detail as opposed to colour. Lowered waists and crotches are key details alongside buttons on legs to adjust the fit. Cotton tops and sweatshirts are also available. These sit alongside digital print T-shirts which are embellished with placement gems and beading. Drapers Margin to show raft of new exhibitors this weekend 10 February 2010 | By Eve Oxberry  London streetwear Margin will showcase several new brands this weekend, with more than 50% of exhibitors showing for the first time.  New exhibitors to Margin will include British denim brand Laundry Made Jeans, which will show its collection of tailored jeans with shapewear back panels.  Another new label is Ashley Marc Hovelle. The eponymous printed t-shirt brand is designed by Hovelle, who used to design for Fred Perry and Gloverall. His first collection of t-shirts pays homage to Michael Jackson.  Italian menswear brand Revenge will show its range of printed t-shirts and also baseball and blouson style jackets.  Brands that are returning to Margin include UK streetwear labels Lazy Oaf, Mr Wingate, Junkfunk, Conquer, Me & Zena, My Yard, and Ultrarama.  Margin will run from February 14 to 15 at The Music Rooms, South Molton Lane, London.

ASHLEY MARC HOVELLE AMH  Global trade launch in The Tee Room at Margin in FEB 2010    Created on the party isle of Ibiza, designer Ashley Marc Hovelle makes his trade debut at Margin with a new range of hit tees + Previously a designer at Fred Perry & Gloverall, and a buyer at Urban Outfitters & Envy, Ashley made the jump to launch AMH + The first collection pays homage to Michael Jackson and has already amassed an impressive group of celebrity fans, including Mark Ronson (pictured), Erick Morillo, Annie Mac, The Kaiser Chiefs, Mgmt, and many more.
