Selvage will featuring cutting-edge premium jeans from Trousers London, organic and fairtrade denim from Chance and French brand NU, directional washes and embroidery from Japanese labels True Brit and Kyoto Denim, design-led denim womenswear from Bulgarian label Mystic, premium mens casualwear from Allopop, and other denim labels.

Margin is well known amongst key buyers and press for providing an affordable launchpad for new labels and the August 2008 edition is no exception with over 80% of exhibitors making their UK debut at Margin.

Originally established to provide a relevant showcase for upscale streetwear brands such as Dephect, EIO Clothing, Cardboard Robot, and Ames Bros, the show has expanded gradually and carefully each season to encompass additional product areas.

The sharp directional tailoring and elegant designerwear of the Kreateur area has been honed each season to highlight cutting-edge garments with labels such as Dagg & Stacey, Missmilne, Emily & Fin, Vault Clothing, and Eleonore de Ruuk, and the August 2008 edition will be the largest Kreateur offering to date.

The accessories area GILD was added to the show to focus on directional accessories ranges by new brands such as Nooka Watches, 80%20 footwear, Helen Rochfort, and Haberdash House.

The 101 Room is an area of Margin created to highlight brand new labels launching their first collection and for August will feature newcomers such as Ultrarama, Violent Elegance, Super Superficial, Archer Adams, Feegee, Adil, and Brownie NY.

Margin exists to promote young upscale streetwear labels.
The Original and the best platform for new talent for over 6 years, Margin was established to help new labels reach a wider buying and press audience.
Margin was created out of necessity. Retailers travel the world looking for the next big thing but are never going to find it at a show whose costs prohibit fresh talent. The main drive of Margin was to establish a show where new young labels could find an affordable platform.

+++ Margin is a curated event where Buyers, Editors, and Stylists know
they can find great new labels season after season and don't have to
wade through hall after hall of established brands to find directional
new products to offer their readers or shoppers.

+++ Spaces are limited to appropriate brands only that have a
directional edge and something new to offer.

+++ Margin consistently welcomes key buyers from directional stores and
editors from cutting-edge titles keen to keep a step ahead of the
  competition
and who know Margin is the prime location to discover
new brands + at larger events where mainstream brands take centre-stage
and priority, new labels can often be an opportunity missed.
