Next Edition + 10th & 11th FEB 2013 +

With the London 2012 Olympics taking place on the traditional tradeshow dates in August, we’ve decided to skip a season + We celebrated 10 Years of Margin in February 2012, which distinguishes the show as the longest-running independent trade event in London, so we feel we’ve justifiably earned a season’s break after devoting 10 years to bringing new & emerging brands together with buyers & press +

Margin is known globally for providing an affordable platform for new, young & emerging brands & designers, but, as the exhibition showcases both men’s and women’s collections, we know from talking to stores that not all the relevant buyers will be in London for one particular date + Many international buyers have planned to visit different London events on different dates for different men’s or women’s events + This means there isn’t a prime calendar slot to give new & emerging designers the best opportunity to meet with as many of these stores as possible this season + We’re being realistic to help new & young designers save their exhibition budget for a stronger debut on a prime dateline +

We’re taking the season break to concentrate on other ongoing projects that are demanding more time and attention but we’ll be back in February 2013 when the London show dates are back to normal and all UK & international buyers & press will be in London at the same time to give new & emerging brands the best possible debut +

See you in February 2013 and in the meantime enjoy the Olympics and the sun (should he decide to put his hat on) +
