Exhibitor Spotlight: Romy Rory
Having studied at the London College of Fashion, during which time she was spotlighted as one of the best graduates during Graduate Fashion Week, and then worked at Alexander McQueen, designer Cicy Zhao returned to China to open her own eponymous store in Yunnan in 2012. It’s through her own store that Cicy can see her designs come to life quickly and gauge immediate customer opinion to hone her fast-moving range of ever-changing clothing.
Inspired by the British High Street but aimed at boutiques, Cicy created the label Romy Rory which offers a selection of fast young fashion that keeps pace with catwalk trends but without the mass production or availability.
A rapid design pace means garments are limited in their production and customers can grab new and exclusive pieces on a regular basis. Dresses retail from £42 to £75 with an ever-changing selection of updated designs to refresh any wardrobe.
Romy Rory will be making their European trade show debut at Margin London on the 4th & 5th August 2013 at the new Margin venue of the Hilton Olympia, next to Kensington Olympia Tube & Train Station and adjacent to the Olympia Exhibition Halls.
