Villainous Visard says:
“Margin played a very important part at the beginning stages of Villainous Visard. A handful of people had already heard about it through word of mouth, but being in Margin helped it branch out into different areas such as blogs, stores and magazines.”
“What first attracted us to Margin was how friendly, easy and helpful the Margin crew are, as well as the trade show being in a central location, then it was cost which to us seemed very reasonable.”
“When starting out most of the budget that you have is injected into the first drop, so having a show which is affordable is very important as you have a chance of showcasing it to the right audience and not just the same circle of friends, and it also makes you look more professional.”
“It is a very important step to have exposure when building the brand in the early stages, so being in the right environment is everything, as well having the ability to interact with potential buyers and being able to talk about the brand.”
“For Villainous Visard it was a platform to network and meet people and out of that we were featured in magazines, numerous blogs and a few months down the line stocked in stores, one which is Urban Industry, one of the biggest online stores in the UK. Also, one of our t-shirts was worn by Example in a Tinchy Stryder video.”
