Launched in August 2007, new label Fourholes exhibited at Margin London and decorated the Gallery Area with their unique Surf art installation.
Fourholes is a new brand created by Brian Macshane who was the Brand Manager at Mambo for eight years previously. Consisting of logo & graphic based jersey and fleece items with denim and knitwear, Fourholes references a more innocent era of pre-sponsorhip surfing before the grassroots passion for the ocean was replaced with corporate team members.
Fourholes is about having to buy your own board and not having one presented to you by a sponsor or having your airfare paid for to chase an epic southerly swell.

Launched exclusively at Margin London, new record label District 6 showcased their range of music influenced clothing in August 07.
With artists including the superlative Nouvelle Vague and Nitin Sawhney, we were pleased to welcome District 6 who produced a limited-edition Margin CD exclusively for Margin visitors as well as providing the perfect Summer soundtrack to the show.
Nouvelle Vague’s stylish reworkings of 80’s classics have captured the hearts of all listeners across age groups. Their new album “Nouvelle Vague Presents: NEW WAVE” reverses the homages with new wave artists such as The Stranglers, Visage, and Joy Division covering classic tracks of our time.

Making their debut at Margin in August, Muldooneys will be showcasing their range of womens handbags.
With a background as a fashion accessories buyer, the designer of Muldooneys has created a range of fresh and classical handbags in various finishes at great price points to provide affordable and stylish accessories.
The range contains quilted and woven bags in on-trend metallics from silver to bronze, as well as animal prints in soft textures with ornate antiqued hardware.

Fresh from Tokyo, Ayame will be making their European debut in GILD at Margin with their range of quality socks.
+ After working for a cashmere company in London following graduation from Tokyo, Aya Agaoka returned to Japan to launch a new socks label which she called Ayamé.
+ Drawing inspiration from sophisticated and delicate Japanese craftsmanship, Ayamé produces a range of unique fashion socks which are all made in Japan.

+ Ayamé will be taking part in GILD, the new accessories area at Margin London for directional accessories ranges.

The Original Smiley Logo is one of the most famous icons in the world. In 1971 Franklin Loufrani created a simple concept for his newspaper, he displayed a happy icon to highlight good news. He gave his original icon the name of ‘Smiley’.
In 2005 the Smiley World Association was founded, an independent charity, so that Smileyworld Ltd can donate 10% of its sales to fight against all forms of social exclusion. When purchasing Smiley collection products you do not only show a positive spirit but also “Share your smile with those in need”.
As well as taking part in music festivals worldwide, Smiley is a must-have in the fluoro world of Nu Rave. Organic and fair trade cotton are used to protect the environment and producers.

Creating desirable and glamourous womenswear, Missmilne is a London label with a celebrity following. Sienna Miller and Jade Jagger swear by the sharp cutting and traditional Japanese tailoring techniques that go into creating the showstopping collection of flattering dresses.
The Winter 2007 short order collection is inspired by the decadent narcissism of London nightlife infused with rebellious colour and luscious fabrics. The Spring Summer 2008 range is influenced by the rustic elegance of greek mythology blended with a girlish charm and a bit of rock and roll.
Missmilne will be exhibiting collections available for short-order and pre-order in August.

Making their international debut exclusively at Margin, Perfectly Flawed will be exhibiting in August.
With a strong industry background creating designs for brands such as H&M, Bershka, Zara Jeans, Mango and many others, the lack of creativity got too frustrating for Karl Slater. The antidote was the creation of Perfectly Flawed. Designing on the edge of reason, Perfectly Flawed keeps it young and fresh, never looking to other brands for inspiration.
All designs are limited editions with no more than 100 garments for the printed tees, or 30 in the couture range, enabling retailers to offer unique items to their shoppers. Knowing that each item is, in essence, one of a kind being numbered 1 to 100 provides a tangible sellng point.
