Fresh from Japan comes the accessories label La Gioia with their range of handcrafted leather bags, wallets, and belts, exhibiting exclusively outside of Japan in GILD at Margin London.

With each luxe item made by hand by highly-skilled craftspeople, items are crafted from softly fine yet resiliently durable leathers.

La Gioia have also created a range of high-quality headwear using leather and sheepskin which incorporate flat-caps, trilbies, bakerboy caps, trapper caps, and fedoras.

Strongly influenced by Japanese street fashions and bold pop art prints, Punky Pins made their first piece of jewellery using plastic gumball charms and other kitsch 80s memorabilia.

Their current collection includes their distinctive ‘Starburst’ range pictured here; a colourful ensemble of laser cut acrylic stars. Other stories include the ‘Junk’ range, an audacious collection of vintage gumball charms and other kitsch goodies loaded onto bracelets and necklaces, the ‘Rockstar’ range, cute enamel star guitars created using their own logo, and their tattoo- inspired ‘Swoopin’ Swallow’ collection.

Punky Pins will be making their trade exhibition debut at GILD in Margin London.

More than two years in development, the patented 2in1 sneaker by new brand Nat-2 will be launched for Spring Summer 2008 at GILD in Margin London. Ideal for travelling, the hybrid shoe looks to be a conventional sneaker but with a clever zip in the sole there is a summer slide hidden away to be unleashed when the sun decides to surprise us (as is becoming all too common in European “summers”!).

Launching at GILD in Margin London, Nat-2 will be showcasing their new range of unique patented kicks in exclusive materials.

With a well-respected and popular shop in Leeds called Fabric Junkie stocking a wide range of contemporary streetwear, Junkie Lovers has been able to create a range of fun jewellery in direct response to the modern customers need for individual product to stand out from the crowd on the high-street.

With a background as a successul retailer tapping into the needs of their shoppers, Junkie Lovers have honed their collection into desirable necklaces, brooches, earrings, bracelets, badges, and brooches. With a fine eye for kitsch, the range includes retro references from Tetris and Pacman through to the humble mixtape.

Junkie Lovers will be exhibiting exclusively in GILD at Margin.

The next-generation boom boxes will be exhibiting in Gild at Margin in August.

Lifepod is an American range of bags that also happen to be the essential iPod add-on. With integrated speakers, you simply plug in your iPod or any other MP3 device to hook the music up to the built-in system.

Pictured here is the gold Rock Steady Stereo Beat Bag available in 4 colours, with the Cooler bag below (shown here in the Wood-grain print) which has a thermal-insulated beverage section as well as MP3 connectivity and radio.

Lifepod will be exhibiting exclusively in Europe at Margin London.

Ring Leader will be showcasing pieces from their jewellery collection at GILD in August.

Comprising a range of rings, knuckle dusters and cuffs inspired by the rollercoaster nature of love and faith, pieces have unique and flirty messages in raised relief.

The idea is that the wearer can ink up the “RING ME” ring for example which comes with a miniature ink pad in a handmade presentation box to then print the personal message onto another persons skin, clothing, or little black book.

Stores can take personal orders from their customers to have the bespoke “RING ME” ring customised with the customers mobile phone number to help them spread the love with their messaging jewellery.

We’re pleased to welcome the flash-bots of Mimoco to GILD, the new London showcase for accessories brands taking place in Margin.

With different artists invited each year to customise these USB flashbots, Mimoco would cohabit comfortably next to any Bearbrick but with the added benefit of being a functional memory device as well as being highly collectable.

Available in various data storage sizes from 512MB up to 4GB, the two inch tall Mimobots are hi-speed USB 2.0 and compatible with both Mac and Windows.

The range also includes official Star Wars Mimobots which include the Stormtrooper pictured here, as well as Darth Vader, R2-D2 and Chewbacca.

Another South African label showcasing at Margin, Los Cojones Del Perro is a new brand from Cape Town and will be making their global debut in August.

Inspired by a dapper Bulldog called Mickey Munden, Los Cojones del Perro rework key British elements in surprisingly innovative ways to produce a fresh spin on key English iconography, such as the Bulldog, Pinstripes, and the Union Jack flag.

Each unique item is customised by hand with stitching, embroidery or beading so no two items are the same.
Los Cojones del Perro will be making their global debut exclusively at Margin London in August 07.

In 1976, The Ramones released their first album, George Lucas was filming a couple of robots in the Tunisian Desert, and a new Italian shoe company was launched in Italy called Monbianco.

Thirty years later, the classic shapes have been recreated in Naples by a French designer with an authentic vintage eye staying true to the brands heritage. Using the original shoe moulds from 1976, the first releases of Monbianco footwear have been limited to 500 pairs worldwide to be sold in select stores.

Monbianco will be exhibiting exclusively in GILD, the new Accessories showcase at Margin London.

After their successful participation in February, Margin is pleased to welcome back Merc which is only fitting now that Margin is based in Soho, just around the corner from the legendary Carnaby Street, spiritual home of Merc.

Established in 1967, 2007 sees Merc celebrating its 40th anniversary by mining its mod roots, not only from the Sixties but also from the vibe of Ska and Northern Soul, which translates to desirable reworkings of mod staples, from sharp knitwear to swinging shirting.

Merc has developed a loyal following of musicians such as The Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight, and The Killers, who appreciate the history behind the brand as well as the clothing.
